Housebreaking your puppy does not need to be this huge, overwhelming undertaking. It can go smoothly and quickly but it does require dedication and consistancy. It is not something you can teach your dog in a few short training sessions when you are in the mood but is something you must live doing 24/7 until the puppy completely understands and is old enough to hold it for the time needed.

There are a few simple rules that you must follow:
1. Any mistakes are YOUR fault, not the puppies. 2. You must never punish the puppy for mistakes. 3. Praise. praise and praise some moe when they potty in the correct area. 4. You must be CONSISTENT 5. Never leave you puppy unattended except for when they are in a crate.
